About Us
Redefine Home is a boutique collection of well-designed furniture and everyday objects mixed with one-of-a-kind treasures. Founded by Interior Designer and Curator Linsi Brownson, the store is built upon the idea of inspired living - creating a home that is filled with the things you need and love, a space that will brighten your day the moment you walk in.
From vintage to re-purposed to handcrafted, Linsi selects each item based on the criteria that it must be entirely unique, or a fundamental element of the larger design picture.
The goal of Redefine Home is to be more than just a retail store, we are a place to come for inspiration and resourceful ideas. We love to interact with customers through Facebook, Twitter and our blog Inspired Design Daily. We’re inspired by just about everything, and frequently post our collections of favorite things on Pinterest.
We invite you to flip through our Style Book collections of curated objects, laugh along with our product descriptions, and generally enjoy yourself while you are here. And of course, feel free to contact us if you’re in the mood to chat.
Oh, and one more thing: Our business is based largely on working with Southern California residents to furnish their perfect homes. So there are some furniture pieces here that are available to locals only. Please don’t get discouraged, our goal is run a great company and there are some things that we just can’t control on a national level. For non locals we are constantly searching for inspiring pieces that we can ship to you. So there’s plenty to play with, even if you can’t get the big stuff! For more info visit our Local Furniture Program.

A little background on Linsi:
· She started decorating with her mom at the age of 8 and started her own ‘design company’ at 11, with her grandparents as the first clients. She also saved her allowance for a month to purchase a computer design program so she could draw multi level floorplans and select professional materials.
· She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute, as well as a Visual Communications degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles.
· She has worked in film and television as an Art Director and Set Stylist, retail as a Visual Merchandiser and Buyer and, of course, as a Residential Interior Designer for the last several years.
· She writes and edits the lifestyle blog Inspired Design Daily
· She is domestic genius in training (still a beginner) and is obsessed with gardening, food and making home a lovely place to be. She is part of a local group of women called Le Salon who get together monthly to teach each other to make healthy food, home and beauty products.
